These terms apply when you use OpenLog to keep a timeline of text, media, and other content.

1. Using OpenLog

You may use OpenLog to create entries containing text, photos, voice recordings, locations, documents, and other attachments. These entries are stored on your device; the current app does not provide account sign-in or cloud sync.

2. Your content

Your entries and attachments belong to you. We do not claim ownership of them, and OpenLog does not upload or sync your local content to our servers. You are responsible for having the rights to any content you add.

3. Backups are your responsibility

OpenLog provides export and import tools, including a preview before restore. Keep copies of important backups in a safe place. We cannot recover local content lost through a damaged, lost, reset, or replaced device when no usable backup exists.

4. Use the app lawfully

Do not misuse, disrupt, resell, or attempt to reverse engineer OpenLog or any related infrastructure. Do not use the app to store or distribute content that violates applicable law or another person’s rights.

5. Availability and changes

OpenLog is provided “as is” and “as available” to the extent permitted by law. We work to make it dependable, but features, supported platforms, and third-party services may change. We cannot guarantee that a device, operating system, or selected backup file will always be available or error-free.

6. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Rwitesh Bera is not responsible for indirect losses or loss of data, profits, or goodwill arising from your use of OpenLog. Nothing in these terms limits rights or remedies that cannot legally be limited.

7. Updates to these terms

We may revise these terms as OpenLog changes. For material changes, we will provide notice in the app or on the website where practical. The current version is published here with its revision date, and continuing to use the app after an update means you accept the revised terms.
